A house among the trees
What most impresses visitors when they walk through the Olympic Village, a stone’s throw from the Flaminio neighborhood in the center of Rome, is the presence of large public and semi-private green spaces, which are always accessible, thanks to the pilotis that allow passage under the buildings.
The apartment, completely renovated, rises from the ground like a tree and at the height of the foliage opens towards the outside through its large ribbon windows.
In the living/dining and kitchen area, the intention of connecting the garden on one side and the courtyard on the other has translated into an open plan, with the exposed reinforced concrete pillar and a large industrial-style window.
A long oak wardrobe hides the study room and access to the sleeping area.
The open bookcases let in light, amplified by the light colors of the walls and furnishings.
