An iconic building for Ernst & Young Headquarters in Ghana.
n the vibrant heart of Accra’s new business district — a key hub in one of the fastest-growing economies of equatorial Africa — rises the new headquarters of Ernst & Young Africa: an icon of transparency, innovation, and sustainable growth.
The tower is defined by its high-performance glass curtain walls, wrapped in an elegant crystalline curvature that flows seamlessly around the structure. Subtle, iridescent shades of blue — achieved through selective layering and anti-reflective treatments — capture the intense equatorial light, transforming the building into an urban prism whose tones shift throughout the day.
Its architectural language reflects the high-tech, globally connected spirit of the district: a transparent podium with a double-height lobby, flexible interior layouts for hybrid work environments, informal collaboration areas, and panoramic terraces on the upper floors for corporate events and gatherings.
The design incorporates climate-responsive strategies: low-emissivity glazing, integrated shading, and natural ventilation systems that harness Accra’s coastal breezes, significantly reducing energy demand. More than an office tower, it stands as a symbol of Accra’s emergence as a rapidly expanding financial hub for the entire African continent.
