Refurbishment of a Private Residence in Punta Ala, seaside Tuscany.
Nestled in the tranquil pinewood of Punta Ala, this residence sits within a natural setting of rare beauty, where sunlight filters through the cork oaks and the air carries the scent of the sea and resin. The architectural regeneration project reinterprets a home in the local style, preserving its original character while enriching it with a contemporary language.
The intervention embraces both the exterior and the interior spaces, custom-designed to create a seamless visual and material connection between house and garden. The landscaped grounds, arranged on two levels and dotted with majestic cork oaks, become an integral part of the living experience, enhanced by large glazed openings that frame sweeping views of the surrounding greenery.
Traditional materials — plaster, wood, and brick — are reimagined with modern detailing and refined finishes, establishing a harmonious dialogue between memory and innovation. The result is a sophisticated environment where contemporary comfort blends with the understated elegance of Tuscan tradition, offering a way of life in perfect symbiosis with nature.
